As we are just days away from Uber & Lyft launching here in our City, I am curious as to what other local guides think about ride sharing...

I Myself have used Uber in other cities, and made sure to sign up as a driver.. which actually began my interest in Google map's local guides...

I figured that google maps will become more relevant than ever before.. Rochesterians, and visitors alike will be utilizing maping services, relying on the most up-to-date information... So I began editing like crazy, and suddenly I was a Local guide without even realizing it!

But I am so excited to be able to stay in the know via both platforms to help better serve the Rochester market, and help make exploring Rochester exciting and fun!!

I truly believe that ride sharing in ROC will help our economy boom!

I say... Rochester better be ready, Downtown is coming alive, and the night life is going to boom like we've never experienced in our corner of the world.

As a side note, Local Rochesterians have always had a negative mindset about their hometown and city... but for the first time in my life, I've been hearing life long residents share perspectives of their city that are actually optimistic and positive!!
