Location Details
We were pleased to host wcciJAM 2018 in the beautiful studios at the Hearst Gymnasium on the UC Berkeley campus in downtown Berkeley.
All studios are accessible to wheelchair users. If you have special needs or requests regarding accessibility, please don't hesitate to contact us using the form below.
Lockers, showers, and the beautiful outdoor Lap Pool will be available for use during the festival for all registered wcciJAM participants! Please bring a $20 refundable cash deposit to obtain a locker padlock so that you may store you're belongings in the locker-rooms.
Pick up a free Lap Pool day pass from the registration table. For pool hours check in here.
Housing is not included in the cost of wcciJAM. Use our Facebook group to connect with local dancers who might be willing to host. See the Housing page for more info.
Transportation
We recommend biking, BART, and/or AC Transit.
For drivers, there are paid street parking and lots at the UCB Recreation Sports Facility and at the Bancroft Parking Structure. You can find an interactive parking map here.
Restrooms
Sadly, there are no designated gender neutral bathrooms in the Hearst Gym. Please visit restrooms.ucberkeley.edu to find the closest one. Also note that all the restrooms at the venue are trans-friendly!
