Angela Heyun is curious about everything embodiment and improvisation - all the ways we inhabit ourselves, meet life, cultivate presence and imagination, and make choices as humans together. She is committed to being in the learning. Her approach to Contact Improvisation focuses on the relational and collective, primarily influenced by Nita Little. Angela is rooted in Contact Beyond Contact, a dance and healing practice for personal, relational, community growth. CBC integrates Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation, Passing Through, Qi Gong, Family Constellations, Taoist philosophy. Angela also explores Fusion Dance, Tai Chi, Butoh, Contemporary dance, embodied theater, and music improvisation.
